The eagle is considered
sacred for many Native
American People because
it is believed that eagles
carry our prayers and
songs to the Creator. The
Eagle has always been a sign
of good luck or good wishes. The
idea for this squash blossom came
when New York and Washington D.C. were attacked on September 11, 2001.
Each eagle and each feather represents a good wish for humanity.
