Replicating a Navajo
wedding basket,
this brooch/pin
is made by a
variety of
processes:
marriage-of-
metals, sweat
soldering, smithing,
and sandstone inlay.

Oh Shi Heart #1

This is the
first brooch
in my "Oh Shi
Heart" series.
It has a
Sandstone Inlay
of a Navajo rug
design. "Oh Shi
Heart" is how Navajo
people tell each other
they care for one another.

Eagle Inlay

can come either as
a broochor as a
pendant.
